Q. How do I set my location?
A. Click on your name or avatar and your Profile page will appear. Down the left side of this page are several menu options, including “Location”. Click on Location and then click on Edit Location. Scroll down, and below the map you will see a place to enter your street, city, state and country. If you live in the United States, you don’t need to enter the country. We suggest you only enter the name of your street, and not your actual street address, to maintain privacy on the Internet.
Q. After I signed up I clicked on Account, but I don’t see any place to put my studio location or teaching information. How can I change the information about my studio and teaching?
A. Clicking on your name or avatar will open your Profile page, where you can enter the information about your studio and your teaching.
Q. How do I change my profile picture?
A. Clicking on your name or avatar will open your Profile page, which allows you to edit all your information, including your profile picture. Click on “Change Profile Photo”, then click on “Select Your File” to use any picture that is stored on your computer.
Q. Is my “Account” different from my “Profile”?
A. Yes. Your Account information and your Profile information are on two different pages. The Account page lets you change your name, email address and password. The Profile page allows you to edit all the information about your studio, including your location, a list of what you teach, a full bio, a link to your website, any special genres or methods you teach and much more. Your Profile information can be accessed by clicking on your name or avatar in the left hand sidebar.
Q. I am a teacher and would like to have a listing. What is the cost of a professional profile?
A. A basic teacher listing is completely free. With your free basic listing, you can create a professional profile that will attract students and enhance your studio.
Q. How can a listing on MusicWiz.club help me grow my studio?
A. Our sites have more than a thousand page visits per month on slow months and as many as nine or ten thousand during special event months. We sponsor periodic games and competitions which attract a large international community. Many parents and adult students visit MusicWiz.club regularly to read the articles. All of these activities lead people to MusicWiz.club when they are looking for a music teacher.
Q. Do you have a social network where I can share with other teachers?
A. Yes! Our free online community, VirtualArtists.com, is filled with creative teachers, students, performers, composers and other interesting folks.
Q. If I have a problem using MusicWiz.club, can I get help?
A. Yes. You can become a free member of VirtualArtists.com to get full email support. Our staff includes technicians and musicians to answer any questions you might have.
Q. If I sign up for a free teacher’s listing do I get any special benefits?
A. Several benefits come with your basic subscription:

Q. What is your RepertoireBank and how do I sign up to use it?
Our RepertoireBank contains thousands of repertoire pieces from all genres and instruments. Each piece comes with one or more performances, a free score or a site to order the score and applicable articles. Teachers, students and performers can save time and money by using our RepertoireBank to preview pieces and download free scores.
RepertoireBank is available to Profile Plus and Studio subscribers only. You can update your free membership to one of these subscription levels at any time.
Q. What if I sign up for a subscription but then decide to leave MusicWiz.club? Can I easily cancel my subscription?
A. Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time by following these steps:
- Sign in to MusicWiz.club
- Click on “My Account”
- Beside “Your Membership”, click “Change”
- Click Unsubscribe button
- Follow PayPal instructions
Q. When I signed up for a listing, I only filled out my name and basic information. How do I enter more information to describe my studio?
A. Click on your name or profile picture (avatar), and your Profile page will appear. This page allows you to change your profile picture and edit all your studio information.
Q. I created a listing, but when I search for my listing it doesn’t show up. What do I need to do?
A. Your listing will not appear in any searches until you fill in your location. Location is one of the items of information on your Profile page. You can open your Profile page by clicking on your name or profile picture (avatar).
Q. I want prospective students to find me, but also want to maintain my privacy on the Internet. What would you suggest I put as my location?
A. Privacy on the Internet is very important. We would suggest you do not put your full address under Location. City and street will be enough for prospective students to find you, and will maintain your privacy.
Q. I am a teacher in Europe. Are MusicWiz.club listings only for the United States?
A. Our teacher listings are for any country in the world. When prospective students search for a teacher the default country is the United States, but they can override that with any city and country.
